With 9 games played and 6 games to go in the regular season the Ponsonby Premier Reserves are unbeaten at the top of the points table, 4 points clear of closest rivals Grammar Carlton in second place.  It has been a hugely sucessful first half of the season for the Premier Reserves picking up the bonus point in nearly every match and playing some good rugby.  The progress of the team has really started to show with the standard of play being improved on a weekly basis.  This gives the team good momentum going into the second half of the season which will be needed with many of the better teams still to be played in what should prove to be tough run to the playoffs.
