NOTE: If you coach both a Senior (Rugby Smart) and Junior (Small Blacks) team you need to complete two online Coach Registrations.

Online Rugby Coach Registration (Junior and Senior Coaches)

• Register  - https://sporty.co.nz/viewform/82474
• Complete the Rugby Coach Registration form.
• At the bottom of the form you will be asked to which Practical Rugby Smart or Small Blacks Course you will attend.  The best course to attend is the Coach Expo as these cover both Rugby Smart and Small Blacks.

RugbySmart and Small Blacks Courses are compulsory for all coaches

Online Rugby Smart Quiz (Senior Club/U13 and above)

• If you are a Rugby Smart Coach (Senior Club/U13 and above) you will have to complete the online Rugby Smart Quiz.
• When you submit your Rugby Coach Registration you will be taken to the online Rugby Smart Quiz.
• Please accept “cookies” from the site and complete the Rugby Smart Quiz.

Small Blacks Coaches (Junior Club Coaches)

• You will need to submit 2 forms of ID at the course you will attend.
• You do not need to do the Rugby Smart Quiz.

Practical Rugby Smart or Small Blacks Course (All Coaches)

• All coaches will need to complete the Practical Rugby Smart or Small Blacks Course

Associate Referees 

• This course must be attended by all those intending to Referee Junior Tackle Grades through to Seniors. 
• The home team should provide a referee unless one is provided by the ARU.
• NZ Rugby states "NO Associtate Referee, NO games can be played involving tackle or contested Scrums"
• Associate Refs are issued with a ID card - please ensure your ref has one!
